Baby & Infant Emergency Know-How is a practical 2-hour workshop designed to help parents feel more confident knowing what to do when a baby or young child needs help.
During the workshop we cover how to recognise an emergency, choking in babies under one, what to do if your baby isn’t breathing, fevers and seizures, common illnesses, bumps, burns and bruises, allergies and reactions, and what’s useful to have in your baby first aid kit. We’ll also talk about trusting your instincts and when to seek further help.
The focus is on giving you clear, practical information you can remember and use if you ever need it, without overwhelming you with medical jargon.
Whether you’re preparing for a new baby or already caring for a little one, this workshop will help you recognise when something isn’t right, know what steps to take and feel better prepared to respond in an emergency.
