Baby & Infant Emergency Know-How is a practical, parent-friendly workshop designed to help you feel more confident knowing what to do when the unexpected happens.
During the workshop we cover how to recognise an emergency, choking in babies under one, what to do if your baby isn’t breathing, fevers and seizures, common illnesses, bumps, burns and bruises, allergies and reactions, and what’s useful to have in your baby first aid kit. We’ll also talk about trusting your instincts and when to seek further help.
You’ll see a CPR and resuscitation demonstration and have plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.
There are no tests or qualifications to worry about. The focus is simply on giving parents and caregivers practical knowledge they can take home and hopefully feel a little more prepared should they ever need it.
